Yellowstone Volcano Observatory
The Yellowstone Volcano Observatory (YVO) is the collaborative group of the US Geological Survey, the University of Utah, and Yellowstone National Park. The Yellowstone Volcano Observatory mission is to "provide timely monitoring and hazard assessment of volcanic, hydrothermal, and earthquake activity in the Yellowstone Plateau region." , using a variety of instruments (USGS, 2013).
